Mr and Mrs. Henry Roy Cedars of Natchitoches, La, announce the engagement of their daughter Morgan Roxanne Cedars, to Marshall Dow Burton, son of Mr. James Allen Burton, Junior of Bossier City, Louisiana.

The bride to be is a graduate of Natchitoches Central High School in Natchitoches, Louisiana and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She is currently a Marketing Coordinator at NROC. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ardis M. Lauw of Natchitoches, Louisiana and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilson J. Cedars of Natchitoches, Louisiana.

The groom is a graduate of Airline High School in Bossier City, Louisiana and is a graduate of Northwestern State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. He is currently a student at Southern Law School and scheduled to graduate this fall and additionally, employed as an Independent Oil and Gas Landman. He is the grandson of the late Mr. James A. Burton, Senior of Indiana and the late Ms. Elizabeth B. Burton of Bossier City, Louisiana and Mrs. Norma L. Colon and the late Mr. William Colon of Bossier City, Louisiana.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m. on May 18, 2013 at Basilica of Immaculate Conception in Natchitoches, Louisiana with the reception following at the Natchitoches Event Center. After the wedding, the couple will reside in Bossier City, Louisiana.
