Counter Culture opened a new, family-run location in south Bossier. Located at 5450 Barksdale Blvd., Counter Culture's new location will feature a drive-thru behind the store.
Owned by Gerald and Terri Williams, the family-oriented business will serve as an alternative to traditional fast food. The Barksdale Boulevard location will be the ninth restaurant in Shreveport-Bossier, and the third in Bossier City.
The new location will continue a 36-year-old tradition of serving good, fresh food at fair prices.
Home of the Humphrey, Counter Culture's signature dish features their famous natural yogurt featuring grapes, banana, strawberries, honey, and granola. “More than a yogurt store,” the restaurant also serves sandwiches, salads, and soups.
