colin dorseyA third suspect has been arrested for his connection in five burglaries in south Bossier after Bossier Sheriff’s detectives found more than $25,000 worth of stolen items, following the arrests of his two accomplices two weeks earlier.

Detectives determined that Colin Dorsey, 33, of 3200 block of Knight Street in Shreveport, helped burglarize businesses, storage facilities and a residence in south Bossier in December and January. Two other suspects, Raymond Myers, 38, and Tyler Still, 18, both of the 500 block of Camp Bistineau in Doyline, were charged Feb. 15 with the burglaries.

Dorsey admitted he was part of the burglary ring, and detectives recovered a stolen Polaris Ranger ATV, Honda Recon 4-wheeler and utility trailer, all worth more than $25,000.

He was arrested Feb. 27 and charged with five counts of simple burglary and one count of possession of Schedule II (meth) and transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility with a bond of $80,000.

Dorsey was also arrested three weeks earlier on Feb. 5 by Bossier deputies and charged with having a rolling meth lab in his vehicle. During a traffic stop, deputies found methamphetamine, a glass pipe and items used to make meth in his vehicle.
