The Haughton Buccaneers got back on track with a 7-4 victory over Neville Thursday in the Trey Altick tournament in Monroe.
The Bucs (2-3) were coming off three straight losses in the Parkway tournament.
Josh Walker led Haughton, going 3-for-4 with an RBI. He also turned in a solid pitching performance, allowing five hits and striking out nine in five innings.
Matthew Anthony and Logan McHan limited Neville to one hit in the final two innings. Anthony also had two RBIs.
Elsewhere, Airline and Benton lost games in the Altick tournament. The Vikings fell to Tioga 11-6 and the Tigers dropped a 10-4 decision to Destrehan.
Dalton Gould had three hits for the Vikings (1-4), and Alex Weinsheimer had two.
TJ Anderson had two hits for Benton, and Aaron Baker had a double.
The Tigers (3-3) hurt themselves with five errors.
