BOSSIER CITY - Celebration of life service for James Bolton will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Bryan Reed and Rev. Keith Rhodes, Simple Church, will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
James was born December 6, 1950 to Arnold and Elizabeth Bolton. He went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was always helping others and loved working with the 3 and 4 year olds at church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Elizabeth Bolton and his daughter, Ashley Rhea Bolton.
James is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Cheryl Bolton; daughter, Jillian Gonzalez and husband Jose'; son, Andrew Bolton and wife Elizabeth; four grandchildren, Madalynn Bolton, Emma Gonzalez, Jacob Bolton and David Gonzalez; sisters, Ann Denney, Becky Knafla and husband Ron and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be his co-workers.
