Benton senior Cade Stephenson has been named the Defensive MVP on the All-District 1, Division II soccer team selected by the coaches.
Benton placed four other players on the first team — senior Joseph Perrett, junior Dillon Rogers, junior Ryan Mutchler and sophomore Mitchell Matthews.
Rogers led the Tigers with 19 goals.
Benton finished 10-11-0 overall and was second in the district behind Calvary at 4-2.
Four Tigers made the second team — junior Will Sanguinetti, junior Ethan Whitehead, freshman Ethan Parks and senior Dylan Nix.
Calvary’s Shelley McMillian wasnamed  Coach of the Year.
Calvary’s Lane Falcon and Tim Kunkel shared Overall MVP honors. Calvary’s Zak Kosin was Offensive MVP.
