Ashley Carron Bruce and Matthew Richard Koch, of Shreveport, are pleased to announce their engagement to be wed on April 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Maplewood First Baptist Church in Sulphur. Rev. Tom Bruce, uncle to the bride-elect, will preside over the ceremony.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bruce, of Sulphur, and the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. J.E. Bruce, and Lois Tillman and the late H.E. Tillman.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Koch, of Bossier City, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Koch, and Mr. Otis Campbell and the late Mary Campbell.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Sulphur High School, Louisiana Tech University, and Louisiana State University Health Science Center – Shreveport.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Parkway High School and Louisiana Tech University.
The couple will make their home in Shreveport.
