Donnie Keith

Capt. Donnie Keith of the Bossier Sheriff’s Office (2nd from right) accepts state recognition for 2012 Outstanding Law Officer in Louisiana (third place) during the Louisiana Veterans of Foreign Wars State Program awards banquet in Alexandria Jan. 26.  Presenting (left to right) are Tim Sloan, VFW Post 5951 Commander and Sponsoring VFW Post for the award; Gary Hardon, VFW State Safety Co-Chairman; Capt. Keith; and A. Cotton Olinde, VFW State Safety Chairman.  Keith, a 6-year veteran of the Army National Guard, has served with the Bossier Sheriff’s Officer since 2005 and is supervisor of Emergency Operations, which includes Marine Patrol, SWAT, Search and Rescue, Diving and Aviation.
