Saturday, Feb. 9, the Friends of Bossier Parish Library will host their annual Author & Friends Event.  The event is free to the public and will take place in the Bossier Parish Historical Center at 2206 Beckett St., Bossier City, from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

This year, award winning authors Liz Talley and Sheila Goss are on the agenda as guest speakers.  They will talk about their craft and offer tips on how to get started in the business of writing.  Those attending the workshops will have an opportunity to meet the authors, purchase their books and have them autographed.
