BOSSIER CITY - Celebration of life service for Ray D. East will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Bryan Reed, Simple Church, will be officiating the service. Interment will follow with full military honors at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Ray retired as a Senior Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force. He defended our country in the Korean and Viet Nam wars. He enjoyed spending time with his family, puppies and watching T.V. Ray always thought of his boys and family before himself.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia, and parents, Eulis and Pauline East and brother, Loyal.
Ray is survived by his son, Richard East and wife Susan of Bossier City, LA, son, Bobby East and wife Elizabeth of Altamont, TN, grandchildren, Robert East, Jr., Jennifer East Netterville and husband B.J., Colton East, Jordan East, Jessica East Johnson and great granddaughters , Payton, Rileigh and Hudson of TN.
Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
