Lauren Elizabeth Aldridge of Benton, LA, and Michael Ashford Nelson of Shreveport, LA, are engaged to be married on Saturday March 16, 2013, at Broadmoor Baptist Memorial Chapel in Shreveport.
Lauren is the daughter of Mr. Brent Aldridge and Mrs. Allison Rains. She is a graduate of Airline High School and completed her undergraduate work at Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Middle School Education. She is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Lauren is currently employed at LearningRX.
Michael is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton (Bud) Ashford Nelson Jr. He is a graduate of C.E. Byrd High School and Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He is a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Michael is currently employed at the Louisiana Department of Transportation.
After their marriage, the couple will reside in Shreveport.
