BOSSIER CITY - Funeral services for Rosalie Rice, 89, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Centuries Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Cecil Marr, pastor of Pinecroft Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the Centuries Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rice was born July 8, 1923 in Omaha, NE; and entered into rest January 7, 2013 at Willis-Knighton Pierremont. She was retired from T G & Y; a member of Pinecroft Baptist Church, and a resident of Shreveport.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Paul Rice.
Survivors include her three children, Richard Rice, Ronda Brooks and husband Mike, Robert Rice and wife Keyna all of Bossier City, LA; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Rice, Rusty Rice, Aaron Brooks, Brad Brooks, Zach Brooks, and Benny Jo Brinkley.
