BOSSIER CITY - Celebration of life service for Ann Husser will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Danny Gleason, Senior Pastor of Benton United Methodist Church will be officiating the service.
The highlight of Ann's day was the daily visits from Archie to have lunch together at Pilgrim Manor. Ann was a member of Benton United Methodist Church. She worked as a typesetter for many years before her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her son, Earl Husser and daughter, Ann Husser King.
Ann is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Archie Husser; daughter, Renee Sawyer and husband, Kyle; grandchildren, Chase Sawyer, Anton King, Courtney King, Beth Travers, David, Jacob, Cody and Jessica Husser; and sister-in-laws, Bonnie Husser, Bobbie Helsel and Joanne Husser.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Benton UMC, Building Fund or charity of your choice .
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Pilgrim Manor Guest Care and the staff at Cornerstone Hospital for their kindness and compassion shown towards their loved one.
