BENTON - Celebration of life services for Evelyn Morgan, 59, will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at First Baptist Bossier's Faith Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Fred Lowery, pastor of First Baptist Bossier, assisted by Rev. Ray Rainey. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be 1to3 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Faith Chapel.
Evelyn was born July 27, 1953 in Kinder, LA to Edwin Andrew and Daisy Fontenot Englund and went home to be with the Lord on December 6, 2012. She was a member of First Baptist Bossier. Having a big heart and a love for people, Evelyn became an RN, a Director of Nursing and then a Psych RN for Home Health. Her Christian life touched many as she served in children's ministry for 43 years.
She is survived by her husband, Francis Morgan of Benton, LA; children, Tiffany Joy Scott and husband Jeffrey of Grapevine, TX, Sara Beth Politz and husband Nick of Bossier City, LA, Matthew Lindsey Morgan and wife Sierra of Benton, LA and grandchildren, Jackson Taylor Scott, Daisy Kate Scott, Christian Alexander Politz and Sophian Evelyn Politz.
Honoring Evelyn as pallbearers will be Jeffrey Scott, Nick Politz, David Johnson, Taylor Brooks, Jay Fitzgerald and Josh Brock. Honorary pallbearer will be Barry Moore.
