BLANCHARD - Celebration of life service for Robert James Robinson, 65, affectionately known as 'Bob' for those he knew, will be held at the Church on the Rock, 5035 N. Market St. in Shreveport, on Saturday, December 8th, 2012 at 10:00am. Brother Mike McGee will be officiating the service.
Bob was involved in his local community and Church and loved helping those in need whenever he could. He was a veteran (USAF) who loved serving his country throughout most of his adult life. He was most recently a successful real estate investor and a collector of various specialty items.
Bob is survived by his four sons and five grandchildren whom he loved very much. The family would like to extend a special thanks to his Church as well as his close friends Betty Small and Corky Davis.
Bob will ultimately be laid to rest with full military honors at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido, California where his mother Dorothye Lee Russell and grandparents Elanzo and Dora Robison are interred.
