BOSSIER CITY - A funeral mass for Mardell Trudnak, 89, will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Pike Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012, with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m., at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City.
Mardell, beloved wife and mother, went home to be with the Lord on December 3, 2012. She was born February 26, 1923 in Eros, LA to Robert Garrett and Josie Inez Walsworth Thompson. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gerald Stephen Trudnak and sisters, Marie Humphries and Charlene Bailey.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ervin B. Trudnak of Bossier City; son, Robert Michael Trudnak of Bossier City; daughters, Patricia Keith and husband Ronnie of Bossier City, Pamela Evans and husband Lanie of Houston, TX; daughter-in-law, Joanna Trudnak of Marshall, TX; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Honoring her as pallbearers will be Ryan Trudnak, Brian Trudnak, Ronnie Keith and Lanie Evans.
