Bossier senior quarterback Samuel Dudley has been named the Offensive MVP on the All-District 1-3A football team.
Dudley helped the Bearkats win the district title for the second year in a row. Bossier finished the regular season 7-3 after winning the final six games of the regular season. The Bearkats lost to Jewel Sumner 28-27 in the first round of the playoffs.
Dudley rushed for 770 yards on 112 caries, an average of 6.9 yards per carry, and scored 11 touchdowns during the regular season.
He also completed 22 of 66 passes for 450 yards and eight touchdowns with only one interception.
Two Bearkat seniors — Jalen Davis and Tevin Robertson — made first team offense and defense.
Davis was selected at center and defensive line. Robertson was selected at wide receiver, strong safety and kick return specialist.
Davis blocked for a Bossier Wing-T offense that averaged 277.1 yards per game.
Robertson was a big-play receiver, catching seven passes for 259 yards, an average of 37 yards per catch. He caught four touchdown passes and had 46 tackles.
Other Bossier first-team selections are senior running back Jaquarious Tutt, senior guard Kendarius Johnson, senior defensive lineman Terrell Brewer, sophomore linebacker Isaiah McKinsey and junior defensive back Malik Dunn.
Tutt led the Bearkats in rushing with 802 yards on 76 carries, an average of 10.6 yards per carry. He scored 10 touchdowns.
Dudley was named to the first team as an athlete. LSU commitment Tre’Davious White of Green Oaks was named first team at quarterback, defensive back and kick return specialist.
Senior linebacker Dustin Brosette of district runner-up North DeSoto was named Defensive MVP.
Bossier’s second-team selections were junior guard Jalen Oliver, senior linebacker Terrick Evans and senior strong safety Rodney Bonds.
Bearkats making honorable mention were Evans at running back, Donnie Edwards at offensive tackle and Oliver at defensive lineman.
All-District teams are selected by the district's coaches.
