Shreveport robbery suspects face charges in Bossier City

Three armed robbery suspects arrested late Wednesday night by Shreveport police also face charges in some recent armed robberies that occurred in Bossier City.

BCPD Violent Crimes Detectives have secured arrest warrants for Myles Willard Robinson, 19, Halston Smith, 21, and Tremario Deontre Washington, 22, all of Shreveport, charging each of them with armed robbery. They are charged in connection with the armed robberies of What’s On Tap in the 2300 block of Airline Drive on September 21, 2012 and the Applebee’s Restaurant in the 2100 block of Airline Drive on November 6, 2012.

Detectives have also secured arrest warrants for Myles Chamberlyn Smith, 19, and James Donnell Tyson, 21, both of Shreveport for in connection with the Applebee’s hold up and the armed robbery of an employee at the Trejos Restaurant in the 2100n block of Airline Drive on October 23, 2012. Myles Smith and Tyson remain at large while Robinson, Halston Smith and Washington remain jailed in Shreveport. Anyone with information about Myles Smith and Tyson are asked to call Bossier Crimestoppers at (318) 424-4100.

Robinson, Myles Smith and Tyson are each charged with two counts of armed robbery. Halston and Washington are each charged with one count of armed robbery. Bond is set at $250,000 for each charge.
