HAUGHTON, – A Memorial service for the family of Jamie Johnson, 70, will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Sig Kunz officiating.
A public service will be held at a later date, to be announced.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Jamie loved to square dance, solve crossword puzzles and knit. She mostly loved time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her father James C. Minor.
Jamie is survived by her mother Jerry M. Lewis of Wichita Falls, TX, her husband Kenneth W. Heft of Haughton, son James Rusty Johnson and his wife Tammy of Haughton, daughter Jamie Jeannine Rice and husband Jason of Medford, NJ, step-daughter Monica Vercler and husband Jeff of Fisher, Ill, ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the nurses of Willis Knighton North and the ICU physicians for the care they gave to Jamie, and the Activ8ers and Southern Swingers Square Dancers for the fun she had dancing and their support during this time.
