BOSSIER CITY - Lawrence R. Vullo passed away at the Northwest Louisiana War Veteran's Home in Bossier City on October 10, 2012. He was born on March 14, 1932 to Jennie (Capace) Vullo and Joseph "Pap" Vullo.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired public school teacher. He attended LSU, the University of Missouri and Southeastern Louisiana University where he received a Master's degree in Education.
Lawrence is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sherrie Mathews Vullo; two children, Stassi Vullo of Cleveland, Ohio and wife Barbara and Rivette Murray and husband Kevin of London, England; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The Vullo family would like to send a special thank you to the employees of the NW La. War Veteran's Home for the excellent care they provided over the last three years.
A private burial service will be held in Oil City, La.
