The Bossier Bearkats won their third straight game Friday night, routing the Lakeview Gators 59-20 at Memorial Stadium.
Bossier, which opens defense of its District 1-3A title Friday at Loyola, improved to 4-3. Lakeview fell to 1-5 with its only victory being a forfeit.
The Bearkats dominated the outmanned Gators from the outset.
Bossier led 34-6 at the end of the first quarter and 46-6 at the half.
Needless to say, Bossier coach Michael Concilio was able to clear his bench early. A running clock was used beginning late in the second quarter.
Eleven different Bear-kats ran the ball and eight players scored touchdowns.
Quarterback Samuel Dudley carried the ball only two times and scored on both.
Jaquarious Tutt, Xavier Chism, Nubian Houston, Tevin Robertson, Chris Williams and Avery Jones all scored rushing touchdowns.
Terrell Brewer scored a defensive touchdown.
Bossier rolled up 378 yards rushing and held Lakeview to 77 yards and two first downs.
Bossier averaged a whopping 13.5 yards per rushing attempt. Tutt led the way with 96 yards on just five carries. Dudley gained 69 yards on his two carries.
Sophomore linebacker Isaiah McKinsey led the defense with five tackles.
