Bossier police arrest one, seek another in robbery PDF Print E-mail

Bossier City police arrested one suspect and have obtained an arrest warrant for a second suspect in connection with the Wednesday night armed robbery of the Global Express store in the 1300 block of Airline Drive.

 

The robbery occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. when the suspect, who was wearing dark clothing and his face covered, entered the store and produced a handgun before robbing an employee of an undisclosed amount of money from the business. The suspect fled the store on foot to an awaiting car parked behind a business next door. A customer chased the suspect and saw him get into a car with a woman behind the wheel before the car sped away. The customer was able to provide officers with a license plate number.

Officers traced the car to the Swan Lake Apartments in the 4600 block of Ruffin Lane where the female suspect taken into custody late Wednesday night. Krystal Nicole Jordan, 22, of the 1200 block of Norris Street was arrested and booked into the Bossier City Jail on a charge of armed robbery.

Upon further investigation, detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit obtained an arrest warrant for the alleged gunman, identified as Robert Allen Dalton Jr., 20, of the 5300 block of East Texas Street charging him with armed robbery.
Anyone with information about Dalton’s whereabouts is asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at 424-4100. Callers to Crime Stoppers are reminded they may remain totally anonymous and could beeligible for up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
