She batted .465 with six doubles and 16 RBI. “I chose LSUE because I found it to be a great fit for me,” Cruickshank said. “It’s not too big to start off with. I figured going to a small school would help me ease into the college life.”
Haughton senior Lani Woods signs a letter-of-intent to play softball at Lamar State College during a ceremony Thursday in the school’s fieldhouse. Woods was an All-Parish first baseman last season. She batted .340 with seven doubles and 17 RBIs.
