The Haughton Lady Bucs finished runner-up in the annual Don Stahl Memorial Tournament Saturday at Lakeside in Sibley.
Haughton lost to Evangel 63-44 in the championship game. Amber Brooks led the Lady Bucs with 15 points.
The Lady Bucs (13-5) defeated Northwood 48-38 in overtime in Friday’s semifinals.
Chelcy Swint scored 13 points and Mikayla Barber had 11.
Bossier reached the consolation finals before falling to District 1-3A rival Loyola 43-35 Saturday
The Haughton boys lost to Loyola 77-62 in the consolation semifinals Friday.
Ryan Hatchett led four Bucs in double figures with 12 points. P.J. Douglas and Tyler Grigsby had 11, and Javonte Woodard chipped in with 10.
The Benton boys and girls swept a pair of games from Cedar Creek.
Madi Sessions scored 17 points to lead the Benton girls to a 59-35 victory.
Gabby Jackson helped the Lady Tigers cause with 12 points, and Megan Feam added 10.
The Benton boys got 18 points from Jeff Stephens in a 66-57 victory. Kordavion Stewart added 11 points, and D.J. Bratten had 10.
Airline fell to West Monroe (20-1), one of the state’s top teams, 68-38, at Airline. Jasmyn Carswell led the Lady Vikings with 13 points.
Parkway lost to Natchitoches Central (16-1) 73-24.
