The Bossier Bearkats repeated as champs of the Bossier Invitational boys basketball tournament with a dominating 45-24 victory over the Natchitoches Central Chiefs Saturday night at Bossier.
Tevin Robertson, a 6-foot-4 post player, led the Bearkats (17-3) with 13 points and was named the tournament MVP. Rashard Owens scored 11 points and made the all-tournament team along with Breon Morris.
Keyth Johnson led Natchitoches Central (15-6) with 11 points. Bossier scored the first 15 points of the game and the Chiefs never got within double digits after that.
Bossier defeated Captain Shreve 62-53 earlier Saturday in the semifinals, and Natchitoches Central downed Byrd 69-56.
Byrd won the third-place game 70-67 over Shreve in overtime.
