AIRLINE WRESTLERS SECOND IN OWN TOURNAMENT

The Airline wrestling team finished second to Teurlings Catholic in the Airline Duals tournament Saturday.

The Vikings went 4-1, defeating Bossier, Northwood, Huntington and Haughton.

Airline also won twice in a tri-meet last week, defeating Byrd 54-30 and Lakeside 57-12. Double winners included Cody Rhymes, Scott Prouty, Jaquavis Hart (two pins), Pablo Marroquin (two pins), Sam Lites (two pins), Keegan Gilligan, Eric McGuire and Aaron McGuire.

BRYANT, PERRY  HELP TECHSTERS  GET PAST OLE MISS

Former Bossier High standout Jasmine Bryant scored 14 points and ex-Benton star Lulu Perry had 12 to help the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters (2-3) defeat Ole Miss 57-54 Saturday night in Ruston.

Whitney Frazier led the Techsters (2-3) with 15 points.

BPCC FALLS TO COASTAL BEND

The Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers fell to Coastal Bend 85-67 in a Region XIV game Saturday afternoon in Beeville, Texas. The Cavs dropped to 6-2 overall and 1-2 in Region XIV. BPCC returns to action Wednesday night at home against San Jacinto. Tipoff is 7.
