If you think back, as a kid Candy Land was probably one of the first board games you learned how to play. Those were fun times, but can you imagine how much more fun it would be to play a life-size game of Candy Land? You can find out now because from December 5—31, there will be a life-size walk through Candy Land game at the Bossier Central Children’s Library.
The game is set up in a way for kids to just walk in and play at their own pace. There are life-size candy displays and a large gingerbread house set up in one area with lots of decorations that look like sweet confections. Two castles are set up as well; one silver and one gold. The King Castle is gold and stands about 6 feet tall.
There will be lots of fun things to do. The kids can decorate a Gingerbread ornament to take home. Be sure to bring your camera and take a quick Candy Land photo.
Make the Kid Zone one of your Christmas stops. It will be something your children will remember for years to come.
Thank you to everyone that donated food items for the Northwest Louisiana Food Bank. The library as a whole collected 756 pounds of food items.
