The Elm Grove Middle School dance line spent time with the University of Louisiana – Monroe recently. Students were: Pearl Merry, McKay Crews, Jada Hearne, Katye Beth Pierce, Melanie Flores, Abbie Norcrose, Lindsey Hutcheson, Jade Barnett, Luke Bertrand.
Mix It Up Day is a national campaign that encourages students to identify, question, and cross social boundaries. Nov. 13 at both middle and high school lunches, Louisiana New Tech @ Plain Dealing Mixed It Up as students spoke with other students they normally would not talk to and to made new friends as every student was stamped with a shape and then took their lunches to their designated shape tables.
