The Haughton Invitational and Bossier Federal Credit Union Lady Kats Invitational basketball tournaments begin today.
There are four games in the 10-team boys’ division today in the Haughton tournament.
Green Oaks faces Minden at 4 p.m. followed by Lakeside vs. North DeSoto at 5:25, Parkway vs. North Caddo at 6:50 and Haughton vs. Benton at 8:15.
There is one first-round boys game Thursday. Byrd plays Longview, Texas at 5:25 at BPCC.
The eight-team girls’ division gets under way Thursday at Haughton and BPCC.
At Haughton, Ruston plays Minden at 4, and Haughton faces Richwood at 6:50.
At BPCC, Lakeside plays Northwood at 4, and Captain Shreve faces Longview, Texas at 6:50.
There are three first-round games in the Lady Kats tournament today.
Red River plays Huntington at 3:30 p.m. followed by Woodlawn vs. Mansfield at 4:50 and Fair Park vs. Bossier at 6:10.
Red River plays Huntington at 3:30 Thursday in another first-round game.
The Green Oaks-BTW and Woodlawn-Mansfield winners face off in one semifinal Thursday at 6:10. The other semifinal is Friday at 6:10.
