BOSSIER CITY - Services for Adam Talmadge Cooper, 71, will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Melvin M. Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving visitors on Friday November 16, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Adam was born October 14, 1941 in Haughton Louisiana, to the parents of Willie Lee Cooper and Rosie Bell Moore. Adam was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish. He recently found another love of the outdoors, when he took up horseback riding. He also loved working in his yard and was especially proud of his wonderful garden. Adam loved his children dearly and they will miss him.

Adam was preceded in death by his parents. Left behind to cherish his wonderful memory are, sons, Michael Mayweather, Anthony Mayweather and wife Jackie, Barry L. Cooper and wife Heneretta; daughters, Teresa A. Cooper, Evonne Cooper and Carolyn Harris; step-daughter, Cynthia A. Smith; sisters Johnnie Mae Jackson, Louvenia Young and husband Issac; brothers, Harold Cooper and wife Mary, Richard Cooper and wife Evelene. Adam also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
