The AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl will host “Bowling for the Bowl” as part of the Military Ticket Initiative on Thursday, November 8 from 6-8 p.m. at Holiday Lanes in Bossier City.
The event is open to the public, and tickets are just $15 for two hours of bowling plus shoe rental, as well as entry into a door prize drawing. Tickets will go on sale Thursday, October 11, and can be purchased at the Independence Bowl Foundation’s office, Holiday Lanes and Barksdale Air Force Base.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Military Ticket Initiative, which provides tickets to the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl to the men and women in military service.
Everyone at the event will be entered to win the door prizes, with drawings to be held throughout the evening. Door prizes include a Lou Holtz autographed football, gift cards, movie passes, Independence Bowl souvenirs and more.
Additionally, raffle tickets will be on sale that night for $10 for a chance to win a 46-inch Sony LED TV from Wright’s Sound Gallery.
