Tina Jolley, who was running for an alderman seat, has withdrawn from the election. This leaves five people in the race and five to be elected which is now automatic. They are Doris Grappe, Jack Hicks, Martha McGee, Phillip Smith, and Elbert Winnfield. The secretary of state’s office advises that ballots have already been printed so their names will appear on the ballot. However, any votes cast will not be counted, but they urge everyone to get out and vote.
