A one vehicle crash on LA Highway 3 in Bossier Parish Sunday claimed the life of a Benton woman.
At approximately 9 p.m., Louisiana State Police Troop G's preliminary investigation revealed that a 2008 Cadillac Escalade driven by 63-year-old Sydney Biedenharn, of Benton, was traveling south on LA Highway 3 when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle exited the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Biedenharn sustained life threatening injuries during the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bossier Parish Coroner.
Toxicology samples were obtained and submitted for analysis. This crash remains under investigation.
