The Louisiana Department of Transportation (DOTD) announced the schedule for a series of public hearings to present the Fiscal Year 2013-14 Preliminary Highway Program.
The meetings are open to the public and will be conducted by the Joint Highway Priority Construction Committee. The public hearings will be held throughout the state and each DOTD district will host the meeting to focus on projects and priorities in their local parishes.
“These hearings provide the transportation committee valuable insight into the concerns and priorities in each community,” said Senator Robert Adley, Chair of the Transportation Committee..
The purpose of the public hearings is to review highway construction priorities for the fiscal year 2013-2014. Public comments made during the hearings will be officially recorded and submitted to the committee for review.
