Parkway’s Rob Harper threw four touchdown passes in a 34-7 junior varsity victory over the Airline Vikings Monday at Airline Stadium.
Elsewhere, Haughton downed Fair Park 24-0 in a game that combined freshmen and JV players. In freshmen games, Benton knocked off Southwood 14-0 and Airline routed Minden 52-18.
At Airline, Jared Lancaster caught two of Harper’s touchdown passes.
Hunter Huckaby and Stacy McCray each caught one.
Juwon Johnson returned an interception for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Airline quarterback Jacob James scored his team’s lone touchdown on a 77-yard run.
At Haughton, the Bucs’ Darius Brooks ran for one touchdown and passed for another.
Antonio Woodfork caught a 56-yard touchdown pass from Brooks, and T.J. Sweeney returned a punt for a touchdown.
Brooks, Damien Sears and Jeremiah Wilson scored two-point conversions.
Wilson also had an interception. Coach Michael Marston said other defensive standouts were Jesus Santos, Michael Harris and Garrett Towney.
At Benton, Zach Hillen scored on a 5-yard run up the middle and Dorsavion Williams scored on a sweep to lift the Tigers. Quarterback Collin Milton had a two-point conversion.
Xavier Washington and Jaylon Carter had interceptions. Coach Shandrick Tasby said other defensive standouts included Ben Robins, Logan Parrie, Taylor Ward, Jake Norris, and Williams.
At Minden, Travis Manning scored three touchdowns, including one on a kickoff return, to lead the Airline freshmen.
Shuncee’ Thomas had a rushing touchdown. Cameron Howell and D’Juan Byrd caught touchdown passes.
Deangelo Pouncy returned an interception for a touchdown. Aaron Pipes also had an interception. Levi Holder blocked a punt.
