Bossier City police are investigating a Sunday night shooting that left a 21-year old woman dead.
Police and Bossier City Fire Department personnel were called to a house in the 600 block of Patton Street at approximately 10:20 p.m. in reference to a shooting and found Ieshia Winbush, of Bossier City, deceased inside the home. Detectives were called to the scene and are investigating the incident as a homicide.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. No other details regarding this incident are being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
